So exciting for me! Asad: Vonnegut is my favorite author EVER. I had to read some of his works and write a 15 page paper on him earlier this year and it was one of my favorite projects ever. The girl who recited from the Aeneid quoted something about death, and said it helped her justify the death of a friend. It's amazing how we can relate to great classics even now. Girl from the Ghetto: I know, I read it, those quotes were so yummy! It's sad that you don't put those up now. People actually read and enjoy my blog! Thanks so much for stopping by. I'm going to India through a programme called World Challenge Expeditions that runs these expeditions through schools. They organize flights, a rough itinerary, safety etc and provide a team leader who know the kind of terrain, though not necessarily the actual country. They just make sure we're ok, but the students actually make all the decisions, cook, find in-country transport, etc etc. It's going to be fun :) Oh my goodness, this is so exciting!
