Banana chocolate chip muffins. Yay!

Today, to celebrate an awesome track meet and a halfway decent history presentation, I am making muffins. My specialty: banana choc chip. And since they take ages to make I don’t really have time to write anything as deep and meaninigful as usual… so I’ll just put down the recipe.

Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cups white sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1/3 cup butter
  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • A pinch of salt
  • As many chocolate chips as you want!
  • 1 egg

  1. Mix the dry ingredients in a small bowl.
  2. Mash up the bananas in a large bowl.
  3. Melt the butter and add it, stirring it into the dry ingredients.
  4. Add the egg and mix all the batter together.
  5. Put the chocolate chips in. HINT: if you lightly flour the choc chips, they don’t sink to the bottom.
  6. Get a muffin pan and lightly butter it
  7. Pour in the batter
  8. Bake at 375 degrees for 18-20 minutes
  9. Take out and serve warm

They’re sooooooooooooooo good… the thought of them is making my mouth water… I’m going to go bake…

Oh, and with that recipe you can make between 12 and 18 muffins, depending on how big you want to make them.
